The Senior Designer at ReignDesign is a pivotal member of our production team, setting the tone and user experience standard for our web and mobile applications. We build powerful stuff, you make sure it's also enjoyable to use. Interested in making a big impact in an organization?
What you will be doing:
- You will be leading the design process from start to finish. You will define user experiences and design cutting-edge interfaces for our interactive products from concept through completion.
- Enjoy working in a collaborative environment, working closely together with a team of developers and instructing a junior designer.
- Participate in client meetings and lead and articulate design directions, UI/UX approaches
- Seek a deep understanding of the client's business, brand, and marketing objectives. Work closely as a proactive problem solver and partner with the account and project management teams.
What you need:
- Excellent Photoshop CS/ Illustrator CS skills
- You put usability first and know its best practices for web applications as well as mobile products in a way that brings clarity to complexity in interfaces.
- You have a clear idea of usage of typography, graphic design , color and layout to author define and create immersive user experiences specific to content, technology, plattform and screens, as well as client expectations.
- You are someone with a "Get Stuff Done" mentality
- Be fast at creating clear simple mockups, flowcharts and wireframes to illustrate UX design or an idea
- Have thorough understanding and experience of high standard UI/UX design and differences between web and mobile applications
- Have in depth knowledge of iPhone and Android design guidelines
It would be cool if you had:
- Prior mobile app design experience and 3+ years web and interactive design experience
- A bachelor degree of a top-tier university/college
- Knowledge of web standards (W3C) for things like HTML, CSS, and Javascript
- You can work on Windows - but don't like it ;)
- Experience in software design for desktop or mobile devices
- A wicked sense of humor and love for games
- The desire to be a part of something BIG
